In my opinion, strong science is the single most important aspect when it comes to effective skin care, and I gravitate towards brands that are steeped in it. Yvan, Josette and Phillipe Allouche - a biologist, physiotherapist, and medical doctor, respectively -  founded Biologique Recherche 40 years ago, and I have been using many of their incredible products for 25 years.

The Red Carpet Mask

Biologique Recherche’s Biomagic Mask is a favorite. It was created to help soothe seborrheic dermatitis, one of the most common skin conditions, which appears as a scaly red rash near sebaceous glands including the nose and eyebrows. The mask, which is also known as their ‘Red Carpet Mask,’ was effectively formulated to purify the epidermis, tighten pores, and mattify the sebaceous secretions. The results are fresh, firm, glowing skin, ideal for a big night out.

What's In the Biomagic Mask?

The Biomagic mask combines white clay, wheat germ oil, and vitamins A and E to create a powerful product. The white clay acts as both an exfoliant and a detoxifier, removing dead skin cells from clogged pores, wheat germ oil helps to build collagen, which firms and returns elasticity to the skin, vitamin A moisturizes and helps to repair damaged cells and vitamin E works as an antioxidant.

How To Use It

For best results, cleanse the skin and pat dry, then apply a thin layer of the mask to the face and decolletage, and let sit for 15-20 minutes. Remove the mask with lukewarm water, and finish with moisturizer.
