I take my work very seriously, which is why it is of utmost importance that when I am not in a respective Studio, I know my clients are being taken care of by the best. I am extremely hands-on and meticulous in my teaching. Having trained solely under me, Rebecca emulates my technique with quality and precision (and she always does it with the perfect dose of southern charm).

Rebecca specializes in customized facials, micropuncture treatments, and brow shaping.

Why did you become an esthetician?

I’ve been obsessed with skincare since I can remember (I’ve been wearing sunscreen daily since I was a teen and started using eye cream in college). But I can’t say there was a particular reason I became an esthetician, it was more like an innate calling. I was lucky enough to have met you in 2012 at Neiman Marcus and that changed everything for me. Although it took me a while to get here, I know I’m in the right place and I truly love what I do.

Where are you from?

A small town in south Louisiana called New Iberia

What do you love most about your job?

I love building lasting relationships with our clients. I do not take it for granted when a client comes back again and again for treatments or for home care recommendations.

What is the most challenging aspect of your job?

Remembering to keep good posture.

How did you come into my life?

After meeting you at Neiman Marcus, I became very focused on working for you. And a close friend and co-worker at the time passed along my information to you when she was at the studio for treatment. I was interviewed the following day!

What are your favorite treatments and why?

I love the dual modality of LED & ultrasound for its long-lasting effects. For treating acne scarring and improving skin elasticity, microneedling is fantastic.

What are your 3 must-have products and why?

  • Biologique Recherche Lait E.V.:  It is a non-negotiable to cleanse my skin before bed every night and this gentle moisturizing cleanser is perfect for my dry skin.
  •  Cream Extraordinary from MBR:  I am chronically dry and if there is only one product I apply when I’m in a hurry, it’s a moisturizer. I’m currently in love with this rich cream which provides long-lasting hydration, reduces the appearance of fine lines and leaves skin silky-smooth.
  • Omorovicza Perfecting Lip Balm - I can't think straight if my lips feel dry. I have multiple jars of this balm open at once. It’s perfectly hydrating and plumping (and addicting).

What is your cardinal skincare rule?

Less is more.

If you weren’t an esthetician, what would you be?

Probably something in fashion (I studied fashion merchandising in college). I somehow know lots of useless information about this topic.
