A technology I use in almost all of my treatments is LED Light Therapy. And while I recommend having regular professional facials for optimal skin health, your at-home routine is equally as important for prolonged results in between treatments. This is why I always send my clients home with customized prescriptions to guide them. I have tried many at-home LED Therapy devices, and the best one that I have come across is the Déesse LED Light Therapy Pro Mask.
This mask prolongs the results of my treatments, and keeps skin healthy and balanced. It is a safe, pain-free and portable. Whenever I post it on my instagram, people go crazy!
Déesse uses low-level light therapy to expose the skin to four clinically proven wavelengths of light. These wavelengths are delivered at safe and therapeutic doses to not overexpose the skin. Each wavelength emits a different color: blue, green, yellow, red, and near infrared, each of which is meant to treat a certain skin condition. I have broken down the benefits of each wavelength in more depth here.
Blue (415 nm): Has powerful anti-bacterial properties, helps regulate natural oil production, improves skin’s clarity, and helps reduce future breakouts.
Green (520 nm): Improves complexion, calms and soothes irritated and sensitive skin, lightens and reduces existing pigmentation, and revitalizes the skin.
Red (630 nm): Increases collagen and elastin production, improves skin’s texture and tone, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, increases the skin’s natural hydration, and restores skin’s radiance.
Near Infrared (830 nm): Promotes scar healing and improves loose, sagging skin, boosts metabolism as more ATP is produced, rejuvenates the skin, and reduces collagen loss.
The more nanometers the light has, the deeper it penetrates the skin.
Another nice feature is the device’s 6 pre-set treatment programs, they allow for some easy customization and include Anti-Aging, Anti-Aging Express, Calming, Purifying, Pigmentation, Post Procedure Programs.
For best results, use the Déesse every day for 20-30 minutes, if you can. It is really worth the investment!
