From the first day of the war in Ukraine, i.e. February 24, the Era Nowych Kobiet Foundation has been involved in helping those in need.
Polish and foreign branches of the Era Nowych Kobiet organize charity collections, join the action to help refugees and initiate their own. Refugees have lived in the houses of women associated with ENK. Project’s ambassadors participate in organizing transports and enrolling children in school.
As a Foundation, we have so far prepared over a dozen 40-ton trucks with long-term food, clothes, hygiene and cleanliness articles, toys for children etc. The collected gifts also include specialist equipment such as flashlights, bulletproof vests, thermal clothing.
Together with the founder of the Foundation - Joanna Przetakiewicz - Rooijens - we personally took 6 buses with gifts to Przemyśl thanks to cooperation with the Biedronka network (Jerónimo Martins Polska). We have the opportunity to deepen this cooperation. The discount store has 3,500 stores all over Poland. From the donations collected, the foundation's ambassadors can shop there and deliver everything directly to those in need. Each of them will be required to provide proof of purchase (receipt, photos and video).
